A native Washingtonian, and proud Hoya, Harrison Beacher is a Managing Partner of the Coalition Properties group, a residential and multi-family real estate Sales team, serving the DC metro area Affiliated with Keller Williams Capital Properties. Harrison was honored by the National Association of Realtors® and included in Realtor® Magazine’s 30 under 30 Class of 2016. Harrison currently serves as 2022 president for the Greater Capital Area Association of Realtors (GCAAR), an at-large director for the District of Columbia Association of Realtors (DCAR). 2022 National Chair for NAR's Broker engagement council and serves as a Voting National Director. Harrison Lives in the Michigan Park neighborhood of NE DC with His wife, newborn son, and two dogs.

A retired DJ, Harrison loves making playlists for every event, Consuming Science fiction of all formats especially if it has any references to star-trek, sharing funny memes & Tik-toks, and traveling to places with delicious and thoughtful food, drinks, great music, nightlife, warm weather, history & culture. Harrison is a national speaker and coach on the topics of Real estate sales, social media optimization, mindset, young professional development, wealth building, diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Our housing justice program offers down payment grants to qualifying BIPOC first time home buying residents in the DC and Philadelphia areas. Awards range from $5,000 to $15,000 and grants are made multiple times per year until funds are expended.

The application/review process is straight forward and uncomplicated.

Our Board of Advisors reviews applications, interviews finalists and identifies grantees. This is a partnership with the Greater Washington Community Foundation who supports the administrative complexity so we can very simply help people buy homes. *

Applicants must identify as one of the following: American Indian, Indigenous, Alaska Native, Asian, Pacific Islander, Black, African American, Hispanic or Latinix birdSEED has made 29 provisional grants to date. The total grant pool available was $215,000. Additional funds have been raised from supportive community members who shared our vision of simple, no strings financial down payment grants that accelerate the home buying process.
